Welcome to Spalding Folk Club

In May we said goodbye to Paul Brightman, who had contributed so much to the club over the years, both in his capacity as technology and social media wizard and as someone who radiated warmth and humour wherever he went. Rest in peace Paul, we miss you.

In June we enjoyed a rare solo show from Miranda Sykes, her twelfth booking here at the time of writing. She holds the record for the most collaborations in her gigs, having appeared at different times with Rex Preston, Jenny Crook, The Miranda Sykes Band, Robb Johnson, Roger Wilson and once with her mum (aaahh!).  Two or three attempts to get Show of Hands on the main stage have come to nothing, but we can still hope.
