2003

Sam Pirt got a night all to himself after he had stolen the show when he turned up with his dad's band Cockersdale the previous year. November's guest was to have been Clive Gregson but he had to cancel at short notice after he fell off a ladder and injured his arm. Christine Collister was the obvious replacement...

In November Colin Hayes organised a concert in Kirton to launch Bill Whaley and Dave Fletcher's latest CD and to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Relief. Bill and Dave sold lots of CDs and helped raise well over £2000 for the charity with a little help from John Conolly and Martyn Wyndham-Read. The event was well supported by the local folk stalwarts, including The Beltonas who, as the warm-up act, performed their first ever gig.  Here's how the local paper reported the event

No-one can remember what happened on Jan 1st, if anything. Must have been a good New Year's Eve.
