In November Colin Hayes organised a concert in Kirton to launch Bill Whaley and Dave Fletcher's latest CD and to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Relief. Bill and Dave sold lots of CDs and helped raise well over £2000 for the charity with a little help from John Conolly and Martyn Wyndham-Read. The event was well supported by the local folk stalwarts, including The Beltonas who, as the warm-up act, performed their first ever gig.  Here's how the local paper reported the event.
