1988
The
large room at the Rugby Club worked best for bands and the highlight of
the year was R Cajun in July when when the club turned into a dance for
the evening. In April the singaround moved from the Pied Calf, where it
was struggling, to the Bell at Pinchbeck which was an ideal venue and lasted
for many years until the pub went out of business (oh no not another one).
Towards the end of the year Paul Dickinson stood down and his place was
taken by Den and Lyn Smith who joined Mike Stevens as co-organisers.
